As Thailand becomes a full-fledged ageing society in 2021, we can expect many changes in our communities.  We all have elderly family members or friends who need care. It is important that our senior population remains active and engages in physical activities. Physical activity and exercise can contribute to maintaining quality of life and the slowing down of the ageing process. Hence, it is vital for us to promote the concept of staying active through healthy exercises. However, not all facilities and equipment in our public or private gyms are elderly-friendly. It is also difficult for some wheelchair users to assess to suitable exercising equipment. There are people with health conditions and require rehabilitation with medical concepts. Others may sustain injuries from incorrect usage of the equipment.
